Once printing is complete, we handle the physical finishing, assemble your Smile in a Box, quality-check it, and ship it to you or your recipient.

No design work or color decisions required. We’ve already prepared the combination.
Step 2
Start the real print
After payment, enter the live-print experience. Once the required materials and printer are ready, you get to start the print yourself.
Step 3
Watch it being made
See the workshop printer live while your keychain is created.
Step 4
We finish the gift
After printing, we inspect the keychain, assemble the box, and prepare it for shipment.
Step 5
They get the fun part

How big is the box?
The baker’s box is approximately 4 × 4 × 2.5 inches.
Does it include the keychain?
Yes. The finished 3D-printed “When You Smile” keychain and its hardware are included.
Are matches included?

Can I watch mine being printed?
Yes. Smile in a Box participates in the Look What I Made remote-print experience. After checkout, you can access the live workshop view and, when the printer and required materials are ready, start your print.
Does it ship immediately after printing?
No. After the print finishes, we still inspect it and assemble the finished gift before shipping.
Is shipping really free?
Yes. Smile in a Box includes free standard shipping.
A quick note about the reveal
The burn-away reveal involves an open flame.
It should only be performed by a responsible adult, on a clear nonflammable surface, away from other combustible materials, children, and pets.
Keep water or another appropriate means of extinguishing a small flame nearby, and never leave burning material unattended.
The fire is part of the surprise.
Keeping the surprise controlled is part of the experience too.
